THE ARTIST

Nout Daro is a contemporary Cambodian artist, born in Kandal Province, Cambodia. He graduated from the Royal University of Fine Arts, Phnom Penh, in 2018 with a degree in sculpture and painting.

Daro has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions, including shows in Singapore and France. His achievements include Third Prize at the National Art Festival Watercolor competition in 2022 and First Prize in the Ekarieach competition in 2024.

Inspired by nature and the cycles of life, his works combine elements of landscape, humanity, and culture. Through his signature “Sunrise Colors” and leaf-inspired techniques, Daro emphasizes the beauty, energy, and fragility of the natural world, inviting viewers to reflect on the importance of protecting life on Earth.
